Katy Perry's hubby Russell Brand posted this not-so-flattering Twitpic of his beloved as a prank over the holiday weekend. But it may not be such a laughing matter to the Missus, who got the anti-glam snapshot pulled down pronto. Oops!

This is the kind of thing that might cause some fireworks between the "Firework" singer and her snarky husband. But lets hope it's just the sort of friction that makes the making up that much hotter.

2010 comes to an end...

So can you believe it...another year gone by...

This year as certainly been an interesting one to say the least, lots of exciting things happened and also a lot of great lessons have been learnt. I can't say I stuck to my new years resolutions, because to be completely frank and honest I cannot even remember what they were. But for 2011 I have a plan, I think i will write in my new year's resolution at the end of every month to remind me what it was and to stick to it. Don't know if you've decided on yours yet, but mine is to have a better balance between family, social and work life. In 2010 there was way to much work and although I'm not complaining, nearer to the end of the year I could definitely start feeling strained, drained and stressed out which can never be good for any work performance. Balance it is...what is yours?

I hope 2010 was a good year for you and that you can take a lot of the life lessons you learnt in 2010 and apply them in the future starting with a year numbered 2011. Remember life can throw any curve ball at you, its your ability to be resilient to stand back up, fight for what you want and be confident that will determine your happiness and success' in life.

Getting mentioned in someone else's blog is always fun and nice to know! Thank you Adriaan for being a great interview and congrats on being nominated as a Mr. South Africa Finalist.

"...It was Wednesday 1 o’clock, when I and two other Semi-Finalists arrived at the Tuks-Fm studio, dressed to impress, excited for our interview, interviewed by none other than the up and coming Radio Personality Star, Alexander Caige!

Alex started off with the questions normally asked-How many Pull-ups and sit-ups I do per day? How long did it take me to do my hair?  Lol, no the interview was very relaxing we just introduced ourselves, mentioned our projects for the Chrysalis foundation and gave our goals for the future!

I never realized how many people are listening to Tuks-Fm, it was only after our interview when I got more than 10 messages from different people who wanted to know what it’s like inside the studio and congratulated me!

The Tuks-Fm team were awesome and I would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to have been on air and getting the community more involved with the Mr.South-Africa 2011!..."

First Text Post : Bus Ride Down!

So I've come to a revelation and realisation, not sure if they can be considered the same but nontheless, going through my blog I haven't really done much typing so here goes:

I just arrived in Stilbaai in the Western Cape of the beautiful South Africa after an interesting 18 hour bust trip on which I ended up meeting some of the most interesting and also irritating people I have ever met in my life including a girl who claimed to be 28 instead acted 8 and couldn't stop moaning and complaining that the bus driver didn't stop often enough for a smoke break, which if we had to, we would still be on the road and the bus trip would've been 25 hours long...atleast.

Nonetheless it was a great trip to experience some of the beauty of South Africa which most people only get to see on TV and maybe not even that much.

This is expected to be a good holiday here in Stilbaai, lets just hope the weather starts playing its part, although looking at the weather forecasted it doesn't look to be good, nonetheless, I'll remain optimistic and keep some money saved for the tequila on those rainy days.
